Your images never leave your device
PixelForge is a fully client-side image editor. When you open or edit an image, it is loaded into your browser's memory and processed locally using the Canvas API and Web Workers. Your images are never uploaded to a server, never stored by us, and never transmitted over the network. This is the core design principle of the tool.
What data we do and don't collect
We do not collect, store, or have access to your images or their contents. We do not require an account, and we do not ask for personal information to use the editor.
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous usage (such as which features are popular). This never includes your image data.
Cookies and advertising
This site is free to use and is supported by advertising provided by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can control personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings.
In regions where it is required (such as the EEA and UK), we show a consent banner and use Google Consent Mode. Advertising and analytics cookies are set to denied by default until you choose to accept them. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Third-party services
- Google AdSense — serves advertising. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Hosting / CDN — standard server logs (such as IP address and user-agent) may be processed by our hosting provider to deliver the website and prevent abuse. These logs do not contain your images.
Local storage
We store small preferences in your browser's local storage — for example your theme (light/dark) and your cookie-consent choice. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Children's privacy
This tool is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
